Thanks to the software that we use we are able to design the product starting from an idea, sketch or real time model, ending at full 3D documentation and taking into consideration the specification of injection method production.

 

1. NX (software)

NX software is commonly referred to as a 3D PLM software application. It was developed by Siemens PLM Software. The product supports all stages of product development from conceptualization (CAID), to design (CAD), to analysis (CAE), to manufacturing (CAM). NX integrates these product lifecycle stages into an end-to-end process using concurrent engineering workflow, design-in-context and product data management tools that apply across all functional areas. NX was originally called Unigraphics.

2. AutoCAD


AutoCAD is a CAD (Computer Aided Design or Computer Aided Drafting) software applicationfor 2D and 3D design and drafting, developed and sold by Autodesk, Inc.
AutoCAD supports a number of application programming interfaces (APIs) for customization and automation. These include AutoLISPVisual LISPVBA.NET and ObjectARX.

WorkNC is a Computer aided manufacturing(CAM) software developed by Sescoi for 2, 2.5, 3, 3+2 and 5-axis machining. WorkNC is well known for having always focused on automation and ease of use since its first release in 1988. WorkNC-CAD was introduced in 2002, making WorkNC a completeCAD/CAM product, one of the worldwide market leaders in its field. The typical users of WorkNC belong to the following industries: automotiveaerospace and defense, engineeringmedical &dentaltoolingmold and die manufacturing.

 

Main functionality

WorkNC CAM main functions include automatic geometry and machining zone detection and management; specific fluid and progressive toolpaths designed for High Speed Machining; full user stock definition (block, CAD, STL); automatic HTML workshop documentation, and virtual 3D machine representation and machining simulation (dynamic editing of points and vectors), among others.

Mastercam started as a 2D CAM system with CAD tools that let machinists design virtual parts on a computer screen and also guided computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools in the manufacture of parts. Since then, Mastercam has grown into the most widely used CAD/CAM package in the world.  Mastercam’s comprehensive set of predefined toolpaths—including contour, drill, pocketing, face, peel mill, engraving, surface high speed, advanced multiaxis, and many more—enable machinists to cut parts efficiently and accurately. Mastercam users can create and cut parts using one of many supplied machine and control definitions, or they can use Mastercam’s advanced tools to create their own customized definitions. Mastercam also offers a level of flexibility that allows the integration of 3rd party applications, called C-hooks, to address unique machine or process specific scenarios.
